Ontones is a personnel and apparatus directory for invited fire and rescue staff. It is not a 911 dispatch system, not a medical product, and not a government service.

What we collect

When you use Ontones we process:

  • Account: email, name, optional phone, role, and the county or agency you belong to.
  • Session: a signed-in session so you stay logged in on this browser or the mobile app until you sign out or delete the account.
  • Directory data you are authorized to view: roster members and apparatus for your county. That is department information, not data we collect from your device.

We do not collect location, photos, contacts, files, advertising IDs, or crash analytics in the current app.

Why we collect it

We use this information to authenticate invited agency staff and to show the personnel and apparatus directory for their county. Accounts are invite-only. There is no public sign-up and no guest mode, because roster and apparatus records are confidential agency data.

Third parties

Supabase provides authentication and the database. They process account and directory data as our backend, not as an advertising partner. We do not sell personal information. The current app has no ads and no analytics SDK.

Retention

Your login and profile stay until you delete the account. After deletion, county roster members, apparatus, and agencies remain — those are the department’s records, not your personal account. Audit rows may keep a user id after your name and email are removed, so history of who changed a record is not silently rewritten.

Delete your account

You can delete your Ontones login yourself. We do not require a phone call, email, or support ticket.

  • In the app: open the Account tab, then tap Delete Account.
  • On the website: sign in and open Account, then choose Delete Account. If you already uninstalled the app, recover or set your password on the website first if needed.

Deleted: your login (email and password), profile (name, phone, role), and sessions. You will not be able to sign back in.

Not deleted: county roster members, apparatus, or agencies. Those stay with the department.
